252 Kids meets on Wednesdays6:30pm-8:00pm |
252 Kids is a fun place for elementary-aged boys and girls to meet new friends, play games, learn life skills, and learn about Jesus! It has 2 different "sections": large group and small groups. The small groups rotate 1 time during the evening, so all the children get to participate in both Games and Skills.
Large Group
In the large group opening session, kids may act out a bible story, ask questions of a "special visitor" from the past, or play quick games to learn about God's love. All ages work together, helping each other as needed; to read, write, and illustrate God's timeless truths!
Small Group
In small groups, the older kids go to Games, where they learn games from around the world as well as nostalgic games that their parents and grandparents used to play! The younger kids go to Skills, where they learn new skills each unit. Some of the skills are communication, first aid, and cooking!
At the end of the evening both groups come back together for a closing session. The kids review memory verses, quiz each other on what they learned and sing songs about God's love. Each week Open Arms staff and volunteers look forward to seeing the kids and sharing the Gospel - won't you consider joining us?
**WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE PRE-REGISTRATION**
